Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is based on ancient healing principals, and it draws on similar energy maps utilized in acupuncture, acupressure, shiatsu massage and reflexology. It is often described as “acupuncture without the needles”. Emotional debris, or blocks are cleared from their energy meridians, enhancing health and well-being.
EFT is a simple, non-invasive technique which can offer relief from physical and emotional pain, stress, or negative emotions. It can be used in the moment without the presence of a clinician once the tapping points and procedure have been learned.
In the body the stress response can be elicited with negative emotions such as fear, or negative thinking. Physiological symptoms occur, and dysregulation in the nervous system can result. EFT tapping works to regulate our nervous system.
Your practitioner will guide you to tap gently with your fingertips, on key meridian (energy) points on the hand, fingers, and upper body, whilst focusing on a specific issue, emotion, or pain.
Issues with weight, fatigue, sleep, and pain can often have a deep, emotional root to them, which we may not even be aware of.
